Instructions
In a large bowl, whisk together the cold milk and instant vanilla pudding until smooth and slightly thickened.
In a separate bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until creamy. Gradually add the sweetened condensed milk and continue beating until smooth.
Fold the whipped topping into the cream cheese mixture until fully combined.
Gently fold the pudding mixture into the cream cheese and whipped topping mixture until smooth and creamy.
In a large trifle dish or 9×13-inch pan, layer vanilla wafers along the bottom.
Add a layer of sliced bananas over the wafers.
Pour a layer of the pudding-cream cheese mixture over the bananas, spreading evenly.
Repeat layers of wafers, bananas, and pudding mixture until all ingredients are used, ending with a layer of pudding mixture on top.
Optional: top with sliced strawberries or crushed vanilla wafers for garnish.
Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight to allow the flavors to meld and the wafers to soften.
